PAT Testing

What is PAT testing:

PAT testing checks the safety of portable and plug in electrical equipment such as kettles, microwaves, desk equipment, extension leads, and power tools. It reduces risk, supports duty of care, and provides a documented record for your files.

What you receive:

Appliances labelled with pass or fail status
Test record and asset list (suitable for landlords and business records)
Certificate or report issued after testing
Clear fail list with recommendations and next steps

What we test:

Class I and Class II appliances.
Extension leads and cable reels.
Chargers and power supplies.
IT equipment and monitors.
Kitchen and break room appliances.
Portable tools and site equipment (where accessible and safe).

What is not included:

Fixed wiring and circuits (this is covered by an EICR)
Repairs to failed items (we can quote if you want us to fix or replace)
Equipment that cannot be safely accessed or isolated at the time of visit

Guide pricing:

We price PAT testing to be commercially realistic and to avoid underquoting. Fixed price is confirmed before booking based on number of items and access.
